MY DOG IS MY PIANO - RESONANCES IN FURRY HUMANESE ft. JULE FLIERL, Berlin

In My Dog is My Piano, Antonia Baehr sketches a subjective acoustic portrait of the affinity between her mother and dog: can the house they share be read as the music score of the stories of canine-human living together? What kind of language emerges from this long duet of everyday comings and goings, of synthesis choreographies of affinities?

My Dog is My Piano is shown the frame of From Breath to Matter / Salon #6. From Breath to Matter is about carving out a platform for an open field that explores the voice as medium somewhere in between performance, dance and new music. Salon #6 is curated by Jule Flierl and Mika Hayashi Ebbesen, in collaboration with Kunsthaus KuLe and THE WORLD IS SOUND (TWIS).

For this special frame, Jule Flierl and Antonia Baehr will perform the third part of My Dog is My Piano: Resonances in Furry Humanese. It will be shown alongside works by Irena Z. Tomazin and Alessio Castellacci.
