CONCERT FOR SOEUR SOURIRE
Antonia Baehr and William Wheeler are reviewing the life of The Singing Nun in Concert for Soeur Sourire. They enact a radio show and demonstrate age old rituals, reading texts from the old (Santa Teresa de Avila) and the Modern (Gertrude Stein) to reveal their own desire for solitude, transcendence, and fame, though they as nuns and pop-star wannabe’s are bastardized by culture.
