THE MISSES AND ME

THE MISSES AND ME

In The Misses and Me, Antonia Baehr is following her video-double’s order to laugh for 7 minutes. But, as her performance doesn’t satisfy her video-mastress, she teaches three male clones of herself the art of laughing without natural stimulus. The motiveless, pure laughter is contaminating and soon jumps over to the audience’s side, so that the two spaces – stage and stand – become the mirror images of one another.
